Dirapuk Monastery

Zuthulphuk Monastery

Dolma La Pass
Dolma La Pass is the highest point of the Kailash Kora at 5,650 meters above sea level. Dolma La is an incredibly powerful for those on pilgrimage adi kailash yatra. The climb up to Dolma La is steep and strenuous; it’s common for pilgrims to undertake this section in the early morning hours in order to pass over the heights before weather patterns change in the afternoon. Tarboche and Yama Dwar
Tarboche, a short drive from Darchen, is renowned for its enormous prayer flagpole and marks the trailhead of the Kailash Kora. Every Saga Dawa (the fourth month of the Tibetan calendar), the pole is lowered and then re-erected. This event attracts pilgrims from all over Tibet. Yama Dwar, which means “The Gate of the Lord of Death,” is located near Tarboche. It is represented by a simple chorten (Buddhist wayside shrine), which pilgrims pass before entering Kailash’s sacred domain. Here, blessings are often gathered in preparation for what lies ahead on this demanding circumambulation. At this spot, you will get one of your first great views south towards the southern face of Mount Kailash, as well as a view down the valley.
Kailash Glaciers
The glaciers located at the height of 5,200m and 5,700m, respectively, feed into three of Asia’s most holy rivers – Indus, Sutlej, and Brahmaputra. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu Airport, Meet by Our Tour Officer, Warm Welcome by Rudrakshya Mala and Transfer to The Hotel. Check into Hotel and Refresh for 30 Minutes. Then We Will Go for Sightseeing of Pashupatinath Temple and If the Time Further Allow Visit Bouddhanath Stupa Also. Day 02: Fly, Kathmandu to Lhasa (3650 M)
Morning After Breakfast, Transfer to Kathmandu International Airport for Your Flight to Lhasa (1 Hour 15 Min Flight). Day 04: Lhasa – Ali Flight – Drive to Manasarovar (4560 M) & Stay at Darchen
Today You Have to Wake Up Very Early Morning by 03.30 Am and Transfer to The Airport with Reporting Time at 05.30 Am for Your Flight to Ali (Kunshal Airport – 4,500 M), Departure at 07.30 Am. Upon Arrival in Ali Airport (Around 09.30 Am), Again Our Kailash Tibetan Guide Will Welcome Us and Continue Drive 250 Km (3.5 Hrs) From Shiquanhe (Ali) To Darchen. Here at Darchen, We Will Refresh and Take Lunch Then We Will Move to Lake Manasarovar 4560m for Parikrama and Puja. This Lake Is the Most Naturally Beautiful with Pure Water. You Will Be in Chiu Gompa Where You Will Take Holy Bath and Do Puja & Hawan as Per Your Own Preparation and Rituals. Today, We Will Have Breakfast at Hotel and Get Ready for Mt. Kailash Kora. The Bus Will Pick Up Us by 10 Am at Hotel Will Have Short Drive to Reach Tarboche and Visit Yama Dwar with Short Walk. Yama Dwar Is the Starting Point for Parikrama. Those Who Are Going for Kora Will Start the Trekking Towards Diraphuk (4860 M) Which Is 14 Kms Trek (5-6 Hrs) By Either Walk or by Horse & Porter Assistance Carrying Small Day Pack Bag and Pack Lunch. Today Hiking Is the Moderate Range with Flat and Gradual Climb in Some Places. Stay in Overnight at Diraphuk in Guesthouse (Dormitory Room). Day 06: Trek to Zuthulphuk (4760 M) (18,000 Ft to 18,500 Ft) – 22 Km / 10 Hrs.
This Is the Day Every Pilgrims Talk About, The Most Difficult Journey Throughout the Yatra – Trek Up to The Highest Pass 5,600 M / 18,600 Ft (Dolma- La Pass). Very Early Morning Wake Up, Have Breakfast and Get Ready to Start the Hiking Up Towards Dolma La, The Continue Steep Climb About 4 – 5 Hours till High Pass. While Climbing from Diraphuk Camp, You Will Also Have Wonderful Blessing from Lord Shiva with Ultimate Golden Kailash Darshan When the First Sun Rays Touch at Mt. Kailash in Clear Day. With Great Success of Ascent in Dolma La Peak, We Will Then Descend Towards Gauri Kunda and Further Trek Along with The River to Zuthulpuk. Overnight at Guesthouse
Day 07: Drive, Zuthulphuk – Darchen – Ali. (300 Kms, 4 To 5 Hrs)
